The French Presidential Election

Postby Reg » Thu Apr 20, 2017 2:00 pm

Today a gunman shot a cop in Paris. ISIS has claimed the attack. Incredible timing, just a few days before the election there.

Marine Le Pen probably didn't have anything to do with the attack but she's certainly going to benefit.

Populism continues to dominate politics around the world.

Le Pen is a slime ball ... she even looks like a right wing nut . The young Liberal is possibly worse than Le Pen for France and Europe . When only 30 % of a Population Votes, how can that be representative ? Now they have two Nuts with no real ground swell of support when it comes to their Parliament . We in Australia have no answers ... we have the same shit going down here . sigh !!!

Some error, Pete. Voter turnout in France ended up at 74%, which is low for them but nothing close to 30.
