See anything strange during the lift off or landing there? Nothing like Q the winged serpent right? Quetzalcoatl...it would be the right country mayeb it was a cult. You would be the equivalent of a Prince of Air during the flight.

Sounds like Lima, 127.0.0.1 of my children!! Maybe try the food. The dirtier the place the better the food is sometimes!

Vancouver is becoming less and less my 127.0.0.1 and more and more my 192.168.0.1 to the rest of the world.

I'm stunned at how ugly the Mexico City airport is. Bogotá's airport is easily one of the best in the world. I would compare it favourably to any airport I've seen in the western world. Mexico City's aeropuerto looks like a third world hellhole.

You know what pisses me off? I put a Canadian flag sticker on my suitcase, not because I'm super patriotic but because it makes it easy to identify my bag from all the others on the baggage carousel. Some jerkoff in the Mexico City airport ripped it half off, presumably just to be a dick.

This moment when you come home to jewr home town after a long journey and you realize somali refugees moved in next door, thereby "enriching" the neighbourhood's culture, hugh? I feel jewr pain...

No Somalis here, thankfully. Lots of Punjabis but they're ok. They pay their own way and stay out of trouble, generally. I'm not an admirer of their beard and hat fashion but whatever. Lots of Chinese but they're great, if a bit cliquish. Canada's immigration policy is merit based so we don't get a lot of losers. Trump wants to change the US system to something similar and Canadians look at him and say "omg what a racist" without realizing that he really just wants to change US policy to match ours.

Glad you didn't get hung up there piñata leg. Did you fill up on various dulce?

We're colder than every city on the list except for Moscow. It is not good to be home.

It's going to almost 60f on Thursday. I guess that is around 15c. Very nice for February.

I haven‘t checked yet, but I wouldn‘t be surprised if this winter ends up belonging to the warmest ever documented in Germany.
