This document states the current rules of engagement at BBAD.com. It is not a contract. Agreement is neither required nor desired.
Mission Statement
Why BBAD.com exists.
- BBAD.com exists to promote free and open intelligent debate on all topics.
- BBAD.com does not exist to provide a sandbox for annoying and unruly children to play in. That outcome may be inevitable given the nature of free speech and the idiocy of the average person, but it is not the purpose of the site.
- BBAD.com is not an unlimited free speech zone. As with all freedoms, there are some limits to what is permitted here.
Premises
These are the premises under which we set and enforce rules.
- These rules will apply to all users equally.
- These rules may (and almost certainly will) change. Users should review them regularly.
- Failing an emergency, administrators will enforce these rules and only these rules. Administrators are explicitly forbidden from restricting user rights or deleting/moving/editing posts aside from the enforcement of these rules.
- In such cases that enforcement involves administrative editing of a post, the administrator and/or moderator will mark the post as having been edited. No such marking is required for the deleting or moving of posts.
Banning Violations
The violations below will result in an immediate and permanent ban without warning. This applies equally to forums and chat. Any posts meeting these criteria will be deleted in addition to the user being banned.
- Hacking
- Spamming
- Illegal Activity
- Impersonating Other Users
Uncensored Forums
Anything that meets the following criteria will be deleted or edited without notice.
- Spam trails (responses to spam).
- Unauthorized disclosure of another person’s personal information (including but not limited to pictures, telephone numbers, emails, etc.) may be removed at the administrator’s discretion.
- Inline porn and/or shock pictures. Links to porn and/or shock pictures are permitted.
Uncensored Chat
All forum rules apply to chat. In addition to these, the violations below will result in a user being either booted or banned from using the chat functions at BBAD.com.
- Flooding with either whitespace or repetitive messages.
- Entering and exiting constantly for the purposes of disruption.
- Disruption of the ability of other users to use chat.
- Chat users must be 18 years of age or older.
Moderated Forums and Chat
The following rules apply to all moderated forums and chat rooms.
- Moderators may delete/edit/move/boot/ban as they see fit for whatever reason and using whatever criteria they choose.
- If the above is unacceptable to you, restrict your activities to the uncensored forums and chat.
Graffiti
The following rules apply to Graffiti, including voice, video and image Graffiti.
- Graffiti is not a Free Speech Zone. Administrators may delete/edit as they see fit for whatever reason and using whatever criteria they choose.
- Only original content, created by the poster, is permitted in Graffiti.
