Those days in the holy month of Ramadan we live the
memory of Imam Ali's death by someone who is an old version of what is been
interoperated as Islamic Terrorism Groups. Those groups were called
Alkhawarej which simply means they exited Islam. They just abandoned Islam to
follow their independent thinking and judge the world by their prospective
throwing all other solid evidences to the wall.
Anyway, probably you might came across the
name ALI when reading Islamic history. He is the most agreed and
disputed man in the Islamic history by almost all Muslims. They all
consider him very honorable man who showed faith, support, honest, decent,
courage, dedication... etc and and a very important column of Islam.
Confirmed references mentioned that the Quran did not mention one's of
Mohammed's followers with good as it did to Ali so did the Hadiths (Mohammed
Quotes). They dispute was it who should have had followed Mohammed
(pbuh) in managing Muslims, becomes Khalife. The Shiaa thinks so according to
their evidences and arguments The rest think otherwise based on their evidences
and arguments. From the prophet's life there are evidences of separation between
the prophet's followers in his regard. Since then until now Muslims debate
those issues.
Talking about him takes many books and
still we will be not giving him the credit he deserves. He was the youngest
among masters of Arabs tribes masters, yet he was the closest to Mohammed. If
you ever read about him, you will notice that he is the best ever assistant a
man ever wanted. Mohammed made him his brother and in a position similar to
Haroon to Moses. The God's will had made him raised by Mohammed himself as if he
was inspired to do so to prepare Ali for his great role in life.
It worth to mention that during his life of preserving justice and fighting
injustice made lots of people angry. During the Umayyad dynasty, he
was being insulted publicly for 40 years. The Umayyad tried to demolish his
accomplishments and traits with bad ones. They fought his descendants and
killed them. They used to burn any book or try to eliminate any reference that
mentions him respectfully. Many tried to burry his history and praised his
enemies in a hope to revenge from him. So did the Abbasids With
all this, what we could have now is really amazing that God has kept
him and his announced sons shinning despite all efforts to hide them of
history.
Today we inspire his life and teachings which are
from Mohammed that shows us how to earn life and afterlife. It is just
who would take this opportunity, Inshallah we will. If you interested the web is
full with books and articles about him or summary about his life in Wikipedia,
Ali Bin Abi Taleb, peace be upon him.

Airports that ban smoking and not make any room for
smokers are inconsiderate. The duty free is full of all kinds of cigarettes and
alcohols they sell mostly those. I dont know why they banning smoking at all.
Make a room for smokers and make it as bad as you want it to be but MAKE
IT.
I've been in Europe last weeks and airports has no
smoking at all, from Istanbul to Vienna to Paris, not to mention others airports
and trains. Having few hours flights then connecting and waiting few more
without smoking is really torture and playing with smokers nerves. The airports
and travelling is an avoidable experience any way, why make it more
terrible.
Other countries airports at least have smoking
areas. Non smokers still enjoy a healthy environment. Why in Europe where most
people smoke!!!. Even in hospitals you can smoke. I can not understand what is
the point. Ok fight smoking by not selling it as a start....

This honorable people defended their lands in front of the most strong and stupid force in middle east, yet supported by weapons and media of USA and allies. They could prove to the world that their freedom is in the heart, their peace is in the mind. As long as they live free without submitting to the material world, they make victories.
In few days Israel offcially submit again to them. Yes, Isreal laying on its knees goes back to two years ago and listens to Nasser Allah when he said we will free your two soldiers when you accept our terms. Isreal for two years fought like a bull against a mountain. Started with a very massive terroristic war that destroyed civilians buildings and murdered around 800 inoccents while Isreali soldiers were crying in battles. Then it applied all its power to politically destroy Hizbullah but it appeared that however you strike Hizbullah, they come back stronger. Isn't Hizbullah teaching the other world how to not forget captives.
Those are the believers of the final prophet Mohammed, inspired by Ali, and students of Hussain. They know there is no freedom but in hearts, no peace but in mind. Israel for 60 years living in fear and will continue. 5/29/2008
Almost all companies have a vision. If one does not have a
precise, clear, measurable, and well communicated one we might not buy its
stocks. Without a vision, the company is simply going no where. There is no
destination thus does not matter which road to take, or just not take a road and
stay still. How the company is going to have partnerships and maximize the
wealth of its stock-holders. Few people might want associate themselves with
companies without what can be called VISION.
Does it apply for human? Do you have a vision? Do we live
our days in accordance to a life-long plans and strategies, or we just work and
try to pay our useless bills. Probably the main question is should I have a
vision or not??? If not, will be easier for me to live does not matter what I do
everyday. Just try to eat and sleep. Work to minimum with low interaction with
the world. Do not care what should or should not I do as I leave my destiny open
for any possible outcome. Will be not easy to make friendships or relations as
they obviously will not find my goal to be with them as I do not have any! Such
as companies, without vision you are doomed in those days.
If I have a vision
. And plan to reach it with long term
tactics and implantation, review it periodically and measure how far have I
succeeded, wouldnt be easier to tell people who am I? Promote myself to others
and share plans and feedback. Get along with people with same vision and be
effective in society. Behave with my surroundings and exploit chances to reach
my goal. From religious point of view, I have a vision as the purpose of live is
clearly defined but it is left open for me to decide my goals in my social life.
Unfortunately, I and I think millions in this world just do not have a clear
vision leading to random behavior and inconstancy in their thoughts. Depression
and sense of lost accompanies most of our life cycles. Even people with visions
without planning and actions face the same. Contradictions between visions and
behavior result losing tracks, right?
I just thought if we are working for companies with visions
and we must work to the guidelines imported from that vision, why we human not
do the same to be able to live to the best? I liked bbad is having a vision and
Reg is working in achieving it. I visualize myself reaching my ultimate goals
hopefully.

How wonderful to have a good job you feel happy to perform. You are so enthusiastic to work hard and contribute to your company success. Until someday you might think "damn i'm only being a slave". You have no friends left. Your family barely sees you. You had have no time to look at the sunset for years!
I try to avoid such situation. I work hard during office hours but i try to manage my relations too. I'm not successful tho to have plenty of time to friends and family or for my own. Compared to few years ago, i used to work for 15 hours and skip meals, now i avoid that. I make sure i have a lunch break now. I make sure to go back home before my kids sleep. I make sure to arrange with friends where to watch the games this week. I make sure in the week-end i visit family and do something together.
I do not want to wake up one morning lonely because i was so good at work. I have already lost connections with old friends because my time was all for the work, imagine with the advanced tech we currently enjoy. I know how hard sometimes to make a personal call during work hours!
So balance is my goal and i hope i can manage. Thanks for letting my share this with you.
Best Wishes 4/4/2008Isn't it wonderful to be able to play sports. Playing football (soccer) constitutes one of the best moments in my life. I just can not imagine life without it. For an hour or so, i just forget the world, forget work, family, friends, everything but the game. The enthusiasim that runs in my body just makes you alive more than whatever you do including sex, alchohol, or even drugs. In football, whatever you feel is sincere, something which you may never know in the bigger field called life.
The fun is working on a team. The fun is to laugh on their mistakes and be shy on yours. The fun is the united feelings shared by all team members. More fun is when you contribute the best to the whole team and lead them in wining, or at leas a good game. All the fun is there once you realize it is indeed fun!
I once had the idea of not be able to play when my knee teared but thanks God i'm able to play again even with 60% as before. That idea had put me down at the beggining but motivated me to work hard later. I pray God continues blessing me and support to my best interest whether i play or not. In deep i hope it with playing.
I wish everyones else has his own way to find an hour or so regularly to omit the pressure of life in an effective healthy way.
Cheers 3/6/2008
Tonight, we celebrate the memory of Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him death. We celebrate his success to deliver the message of Allah most merciful most kindness. The message which elevated human’s standards to “Love for your brother what you love for yourself”. A message which states, there are no difference between any races of mankind. No superiority of one’s human race or gender over the other each by his deeds. He had very challenging life with his people. He was admired from the first day he was born. There were no two people would disagree upon him. When he was about to declare his mission, he said to his own people” have I ever lied to you, no they replied, have I ever hurt any of you, no they replied, if I ever to say that there is a big army behind the mountains about to take you would you believe me, they replied yes we would, then I’m a messenger from Allah for you between my hand a mercy for all mankind”.
Unfortunately, today we do not practice most of his teachings although we know it is the path to happiness in life and later. Yet, we contribute to spreading bad image about him by our bad deeds. We do wrong and attribute it to his name. We look to fulfill our mean ignorant self-esteem by justifying it with his name. We kill children and women by his name. We seek blood by his name. We steal, betray, and lie by his name. Well, this all did not change the fact that he is innocent from our bad actions and thoughts. Despite lots of lies attached to his story, he is the prophet of mercy to all mankind.
Today many people try to attack Mohammed in order to attack us. They might find it more appealing than attacking us directly. Many people did not read his story or his book but yet claim that his teachings are the most barbaric ones. Many people take the parts which they think it is vulnerable to attack and ignore other parts. This silly way of attacks just won’t make any difference. The truth always shines at the end and Islam spreads rapidly even today. The message is complete in Quran from first verse to the last. It is not enough to read few words and judge the whole book.
Looking at Mohammed, Muslims for sure will be provoked when ever he is attacked. We just need to learn how to support him by our deeds and thoughts before we throw others by stones. We have to understand that there is no freedom as claimed by other nations. This misleading statement falls whenever it touches their interests. As Ghandi once said first they ignore you then they mock you then they fight you then you win. 2/29/2008
All hands on the table now. Israel threatens holocaust to Palestinians and tanks on door. America sends it war ships to Lebanon. Turks hikes on Iraq. Arab leaders wont agree on meeting next month. US foreign minister comes to Middle East next week to explain the required scenario of the upcoming war. The decisive confrontation is coming no doubt!
Israel warns of Gaza 'holocaust' Israel air strikes pounded targets in Gaza for a second night Israeli leaders are warning of an imminent conflagration in Gaza after Palestinian militants aimed rockets at the southern city of Ashkelon. The deputy defence mister said the stepped-up rocket fire would trigger what he called a "bigger holocaust" in the Hamas-controlled coastal strip.
Israeli air strikes have killed about 30 Palestinians, including six children in the past two days.
Israel has activated its early warning system in Ashkelon for the first time.
One rocket hit a block of flats in the city of 120,000 inhabitants about 10km (six miles) north of the Gaza Strip breaking through the roof and slicing through three floors below.
No-one was injured, but another rocket landed near a school, wounding a 17-year-old girl.
"The more [rocket] fire intensifies and the rockets reach a longer range, they (the Palestinians) will bring upon themselves a bigger holocaust because we will use all our might to defend ourselves," Matan Vilnai told Israeli army radio.
Correspondents say the "holocaust" is a term rarely used in Israel outside discussions of the Nazi genocide during World War II

Some of you have asked me to write about Saudi Arabia. I must admit, I always find people interested to hear about it. Is it because it was almost forbidden place to talk about? Is it because of how diverse it is? Or just curiosity?
I need to mention that I live in a town in the Eastern part of Saudi, near Bahrain and Kuwait. The city I live at is around 3500 years old (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qatif). It has been a place of many disputes with government for years. My guess is because of three reasons; religious differences, largest (or second) oil field in the world, and rich of farms and fishing. I do not see the fruit of being one of the largest oil production fields though, not as should to be fair.
Saudi Arabia is a mix of all humans races. The geographic location in middle of three continents made it the road for many travelers. Many have settled in it in their ways. In the Persian gulf was the port and trade centre for ships. In the east was Makkah, many pilgrims just settle there and never go back. You see Arabic origin, Asians, Persians, Pakistanis, Indians, Africans, Turks, and Europeans. Note that Arabs are referred to the tongue those days rather than race. But still, the majority of Saudi is the original trips especially when you go to the center. In the sides, you have better chance to see locals of different origins but mostly of Arabic ones.
For sure such diversity has affected the culture and traditions. Depends of where the person is from can tell lots of his/her norms and traditions. Arabs are mainly of two origins; Bedouins and civil (i.e. my town). Bedouins are those people who used to live in desert and had harsh life. Villagers had settled in their lands with abundance of water and life requirements.
Nowadays, Saudi Arabia is the largest economy of Middle East. The business is growing and cities expanding rapidly. The once closed society became wide-open to the world and tries to find a language to interact with the rest. Many international firms targeting Saudi to take a share of the market. People tried to resist change but gradually started to adapt ways to accommodate it. We in the East, have a good share of freedom and prosperity. We are more open to the world and close to our neighbors. It takes a short car ride to Bahrain or Kuwait or even Dubai.
The religion is an essential part of our life. It dominates our behavior and thoughts. Islam has teachings for every action we do. It has morals how to respect each others, how to walk on streets, how to eat, how to treat our families and parents… In general we are not much different then other parts of the world. I will post some pictures soon.

Few days ago I watched movie “The Ten Commandments”, well you thinking I want talk about religion and some unbelievable story! In fact yes, but I want look at it from a different prospective.
Despite the huge arguments may arise by debating about some scenes from the movie or someone wants to search for explicit evidences. The film has gone a story which is shared by Jews, Christians, and Muslims all over the world. The one of the amazing parts of Moses journey to the Promised Land is their travel in deserts for forty years. Can you imagine, if you travel by airplane you can not stand nine hours flight! How about travelling desert for forty years?
Those people who been led into desert just been suffering for 400 years. They were looking to heaven of the Promised Land where will enjoy freedom and self dignity. Instead, they just were wondering in desert for all that time without experience to neither survival nor supplies. They just trusted Moses to lead them. Who could lead such people for forty years and keep their faith. Of course, some of them could not continue and tried to rebel but many passed the test. You might say that miracles were happening to them all the way to keep their spirits up when needed. I do not think that was the reason for them to bear all those years waiting for their destiny. I think the main lesson could affect me was their TRUST. According to the movie, they trusted a man who had no plan but to follow whatever he was told.
This is what we lack in our life now. We just can not trust anybody. The first lessons we learn from life is never trust. Never trust strangers, friends, relatives, wives/husbands, clergies, scientists, books, doctors, car salesmen, and you can name thousands. You may say that I exaggerate but if you consider it for a moment you may agree. We are lost because we try to live against our nature, our social instinct that implies no mankind can live alone. Trust is uncompromising to live nice life with others. I must depend on my surrounding people to back me up when needed, and vice versa. If someone has a trustable person beside him feels he/she very confident. At work, I try to gain the trust of my colleagues. At life, I try to show my friends that I’m trustworthy to take the same. At home, I trust my family to make them comfortable. But sometimes when a trust is needed all those people may turn away. We keep looking for someone to trust us but do we trust them. If we want the world to trust each other we should start by ourselves.
At the end, we all looking for someone to trust and guide us through life. I trust in God.
